2012, Medjugorje and endtimes

While the calendar doesn't actually end (it is reset), the notion is too exotic for the media to let go and there are all kinds of convergences, from economic forecasters who have pointed to that as the year of real financial comeuppance to those who indicate it as another presidential election year in the U.S. to astronomers who say the eclipse of our solar system will pass across the equator of the Milky Way on December 21, 2012 (at 11:11 universal time), which some think will unleash new gravitational forces.
